Thunder and Lightning Woweeeeeeee

Take a look at this
A fabulous picture of lightning striking the 3 tallest buildings in Chicago:
From left to right: The Hancock, the Aon building (once called the SOB or Standard Oil Building) and the Willis Building (once called the Sears Tower).
In Chicago, where I live, there was so much thunder and lightning around 4:30 am this morning of a Grand Cross Cardinal Lunar eclipse of June 26, 2010, that I woke up. So much light I thought it was morning.
I thought that Thor himself was sitting on my rooftop.

Of course, as an astrologer, I wondered about this thunder-lightning-rainstorm show and how close to the actual moment of exactitude to this POWerful eclipse, which, as it turns out, was 6:30 am, just as the Sun was rising and the Moon was setting.
The Moon of this Lunar Eclipse at 4 Capricorn was exactly conjoined to Pluto. Square to the Pluto-Moon, the hard taskmaster Saturn at the bottom of the chart. And at the top, and opposing Saturn was the Jupiter-Uranus conjunction in Aries.

Uranus is the Great Awakener, whose sign is 2 lightning bolts that some people mistake for water. Uranus, the higher octave of Mercury, the messenger of the gods, ran on foot with the news. Uranus is the archetypal equivalent of e-mail or texting or Twitter, an electronic techie lightning fast 21st century equivalent of Mercury. And with Jupiter, the biggest planet and king of the gods, conjoined with Uranus, we have Awakened Lightning conjoined to the concept of Big-Bigger-Biggest-most Powerful.

This eclipse is part of the drumbeat to what astrologers around the world are calling ‘The Cardinal Climax’ or ‘Cardinal Drama’. Cardinal signs begin the seasons in the Northern Hemisphere and are associated with beginning, initiating, finding a new path before anyone else does.
Jupiter and Uranus are now conjunct in explosive Mars-ruled Aries, Saturn will be moving to Venus-ruled Libra July 22, Pluto has been slowly moving through Saturn-ruled Capricorn since January 2008, setting up an earth-moving difficult configuration called a T-square.
We have not seen the likes of these many planets in Cardinal signs since August of 1989 to August 1990, when the Berlin wall fell. And many are outer planets that are in stressful aspect to one another; Pluto and Uranus are the slowest movers of the group and they are in a difficult square (boxed in, painted into a corner). Saturn spends about 2 ½ years in a sign and Jupiter spends 1 year in a sign. The Pluto-Uranus square has not been seen since the Depression in the early 1930’s.

This eclipse is only 2 degrees off my natal Mercury, which Pluto is stimulating now, which must be the reason for me having all this internal push to finally begin my blogging.

The Solar Eclipse on July 11, 2010 is just a few minutes from my North Node, the place in the chart which points to your calling, purpose, destiny. So I had to be metaphorically struck with lightning and awoken by thunder to start my blogging career. Finally.
